Came out of a house and noticed this nice scratch on the Taco. There were many vehicles around when I arrived, none when I left, so no hope of finding out who did what... Feh. This week has not been kind.

An instance where “that’ll buff out” is actually true.

Hard to tell from photo, but looks like surface scratch/abrasion (dirt gets ground into the clear and “stains” it). Fine cut rubbing compound and a clean micro-fiber towel should have that gone quickly.
Either that, or don’t wipe the dirt off next time, it hides the scratch!

Man, that sucks. Looks like maybe you can buff it so it doesn’t show. Hope so.

Concur, from that picture, it definitely appears to be the case.

I found a scuff on my front bumper last night that happened sometime between Sunday and Wednesday. I’m not a happy camper.

Scratch-x and forget..

First clean the truck. Then grab a microfiber cloth, some wax, and with a little bit of elbow grease it will be gone before you know it.

Photo whole Taco?

If you’re worried about that, then your car is too nice.

little acetone, wipe it off and polish. Doesn’t appear deep at all, in fact from the photo looks like a mark and not a scratch.

That thing clearly “works.”
